Meet Nala!
Nala is a little hurricane of a pup living her absolute best life with her human, Emma, and her spare human, Matt.
She’s a Terrier mix with a dash of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel — and every bit of energy (and attitude) of a Jack Russell. Smart, sassy, and full of beans.
Nala loves nothing more than chasing birds, playing tug-of-war, and napping anywhere except her bed.
Favourite Treat: Cheese tax and mum's homemade Bone broth treats
Favourite Toy: The tiny remains of the face of what was a stuffed Raccoon
Favourite Hobby: Pulling all the stuffing out of new toys in under 3 minutes

Hey, I’m Emma — the human behind Nala’s Homemade Dog Food! I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my lovely husband & beautiful little pup, Nala.
After 15 years in hospitality, I've swapped full time café chaos for something a little closer to my heart: creating real, wholesome meals for dogs. These days, you’ll still find me making coffee (and sneaking in plenty of dog pats!) at a local mobile coffee van, but Nala’s has become my real passion project.
When I’m not in the kitchen or behind a coffee machine, you’ll catch me doing one of my favourite things:
- Hunting down the best Italian food (pasta is life)
- Adding to my tattoo collection
- Mixing a gin cocktail at home
- Snowboarding (when I can squeeze it in)
Or cozying up on the couch with Nala after a big day.
What started as a way to give my own dog the best has grown into something I’m so proud to share with other dog lovers. I hope your pups love every bite as much as I love making it!
